JULY 2, 2009 (Thursday) LIVE JAZZ - JAZZ CENTRAL (The music starts at 7.30 p.m.)
Tonight's live jazz is provided by Jazz Central, who will be making their first appearance in the Cottage. The band perform a wide variety of jazz styles, including Mainstream, Funk, Blues, Cool, Bebop, and Latin. The end result is a band that appeals to listeners of all musical tastes. For this event, there is a suggested band collection donation of $5 per person for BJS members (with membership card); non-BJS members will be charged a cover charge of $5 at the door. Tonight's live jazz entertainment is provided by the Chris Greene Quartet, who will be making their third appearance in the Cottage. The band play a mixture of original tunes and contemporary music, as well as some jazz classics, in their own inimitable way. For this event, there is a suggested band collection donation of $5 per person for BJS members (with membership card); non-BJS members will be charged a cover charge of $5 at the door.
